Art designed to bring families together.

Hi, I'm Matt. Children's illustrator, graphic designer, and proud dad.

For over 15 years I worked with some of the world's most loved brands, learning how to make design that's thoughtful, impactful and built to last. It was good work. But it wasn't the most important work I'd ever do.

That started at the kitchen table.

When our daughter arrived everything shifted. The digital noise, the screens, the constant scroll, it all fell away. And what was left was better. Quieter. More joyful. More real.

I started making things. Paper characters, illustrated worlds, stories built from cut and coloured shapes. Not for clients. For her.

And something unexpected happened, the work became the best I'd ever made.

That's the wonderful world of Earthboy.

A world of screen-free artwork, paper toys and stories for children, built on one belief: the best things in life don’t need to be plugged in. They just need a bit of imagination, and someone to enjoy it with.

Everything I make combines 15 years of professional design craft with the joy, curiosity and play that only a child can teach you.

It started as something I made for my daughter. Now I make it for your family too.

Giving Back

Every Earthboy purchase does a little more good in the world. 20% of every sale is donated equally between CASK Research Foundation and Footprints Nottingham, two organisations providing research and vital support for children and families facing complex challenges.

Our own family journey has shown us how powerful the right support, research and community can be when life gets complicated. Not every family gets that. So every print you hang, every book you read, every paper toy you build quietly helps extend that same care to families who need it most.
