This print is my ultimate artwork for mindfulness and storytelling. To create a calm bedtime routine, I use this print as a way to help our minds lose the troubles of the day and focus on a dream-like scape of a wonderful midnight steam train. In a kaleidoscope of midnight blues, warm ambers, golden yolks, and candy pinks, the steam train chugs gently through a clear night sky, its colour-changing wheels rolling towards something wonderful. Everyone is happy to be travelling — because sometimes the journey itself is the celebration.
Inspired by classic steam train stories and nostalgic nighttime adventures, The Midnight Train connects children to a world of simple joys and shared imagination. Steam trains have long carried us through stories of magic, friendship, and anticipation — linking past and future through movement and wonder. This 3 print set invites children and grown-ups alike to imagine a gentler world filled with excitement, togetherness, and happy surprises.
