Custom animation made in 10 simple frames brings that playful and naive charm to the artwork that reminds the audience of its handmade aesthetic. With the amp turned up, the distortion on heavy, the guitarist slams a chord and blasts the positive affirmation out to the audience. A mini gif that delivers happiness, fun and a little bit of the unexpected with rock n roll style.
Using scissors to cut out shapes allows me to keep some of that handmade aesthetic, and bringing them into a digital space lets me work with color and pattern in a non-destructive way. The key to this style is all about “play.” Having fun is essential to making something joyful.
