I made this print as a way to bridge two worlds that often feel separate — art made for children, and art adults genuinely want to live with. I wanted to create something that could sit comfortably alongside contemporary artwork, while still sparking curiosity and imagination for younger viewers.
The mountains came from a simple idea: bringing the outdoors closer to home. As a family, we love being outside — hiking, exploring, and dreaming about where we’ll go next. This piece is a quiet reminder of those passions, made from hand-cut paper to keep the process tactile and human. It’s about keeping a connection to the things we love close by, and letting art hold space for future adventures.
